Plot[edit]
Set of 1953, Penny and Barney having a date, Penny forms the one girl and all boys team, Penny and the Bee Guys and Barney forms the one boy and all girls team, Barney and the Guinea Pig Gals.

Filming locations[edit]
The opening beach scene was shot at Sea Shell Beach. The exterior Rudman scenes, including the front parking lot scenes, the auto shop, the “Sweet Victory” bleachers number, Penny's “I Penny” number, the basketball, baseball, and track segments, and the interior of the gymnastics gym, were shot at McAllen High School in McAllen, Texas, during the summer of 1966. The Rudman interiors, including the bowling alley, were filmed at Creasey's Bowl (opened in 1954) in Harlingen, Texas. The Boys’ sleepover was shot at a private house in East McAllen. The Paramount Pictures studio lot was the location of the scenes.
