Stephane Joel Barou (born 21 December 2003) is a Ivorian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Jedinstvo Bihać, on loan from Bosnian Premier League club Velež Mostar.
Club career[edit]
Velež Mostar[edit]
In February 2022, he joined the Velež Mostar. However, upon his arrival in Bosnia and Herzegovina in March of the same year, Barou was accused of raping a minor.[2] In June, news arrived that he was acquitted of all charges, and in September he earned the right to play for the Mostar club.[3] In January 2023, Stephane, along with two other players from Velež, was sent on loan to Jedinstvo Bihać.[4]
