Stephen Byram

Stephen Byram is a New York-based graphic designer. He was born in Oakland, California in 1952, studied at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, and moved to New York in 1979.[1]

His design of compact disc packaging was featured in Eye magazine (No. 42, Vol. 11, Winter 2001).[1] This work is typified by tactile surfaces, hand drawing and dynamic typography.

Among musicians that feature covers by Stephen Byram are Dave Douglas, Living Colour, Frank Catalano, and Django Bates. Byram has also designed the artwork for many releases from Screwgun Records.[2]
