Stephen Alan Crystal (born November 9, 1965) is an American attorney, business executive, and investor who has worked in the gambling and gaming technology industries. He Co-Founded Barrick Gaming[1] Corporation. He later founded SCCG Management, a consulting firm that provides advisory services in areas such as sports betting and iGaming.

Early life and education

Crystal earned his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College in 1987 and his Juris Doctor from American University in 1992.

Political career

In 1986, Crystal was elected as a state representative in New Hampshire, representing the town of Hanover. During his time in office, he served on the state’s Energy Committee and sponsored legislation, including the Aid to Blind Act and provisions related to the Motor Voter Bill.

Professional career

Crystal began his legal career in Kansas City, Missouri, where he worked as a land-use attorney representing gaming industry clients in riverboat casino development projects. He later joined the law firm Armstrong Teasdale, where he practiced for 12 years, focused on gaming law, project finance, and regulatory compliance.

In 2004, Crystal co-founded Barrick Gaming Corporation, acquiring multiple hotel casinos in downtown Las Vegas, including properties such as the Gold Spike, Plaza, Las Vegas Club, and The Western. [2][3] Afterward, he shifted his focus to investments in gaming technology, working with companies such as DigiDeal Corporation and Tablemax, Inc. He also served as CEO and chairman of Tablemax, Inc. from 2005 to 2009.

SCCG Management

Crystal founded SCCG Management, a global advisory firm in sports wagering, iGaming, casino operations, and technology partnerships. The firm operates across multiple regions, including North America, Latin America, Africa, Asia, and Europe. SCCG offers consulting services in gaming industry sectors.
