Stephen D. Crisman
Stephen D. Crisman (December 24, 1949 - December 19, 2019) was an American director, producer and writer of television documentaries.[1]
His filmography included Blood Money: Switzerland’s Nazi Gold (1997); episodes of A&E’s Biography (1998-2004) including those on Ernest Hemingway, Eugene O’Neill and Bob Dylan; episodes of Investigative Reports (1999-2000); and PBS’s Munich '72 and Beyond (2016.) The latter film was named Best Documentary at the Los Angeles International Short Film Festival in 2016.[2]
Crisman was married to actress Mariel Hemingway from 1984 until their divorce in 2009. He died in Los Angeles from cancer in 2019.[1]
