Stephen Andrew Flickner is an American singer-songwriter and musician. He is recognized for his solo musical endeavors and as a member of the music collective, No Motive.
Early Life and Education
Stephen Flickner developed an early passion for music. His father, Andy Flickner, is also a musician and serves as a co-owner and instructor for piano and guitar lessons at Bach to Rock in Carmel, Indiana.[1] Stephen, along with his father Andy and brother Matthew, performs as "The Flickner Family Trio" at various local venues.[2]
Career
Solo Career
Flickner has released several singles and EPs as a solo artist. His work includes tracks such as "not the type," "strokes - EP," "Better My Heart," and "Summertime Sadness."[3]
On April 28, 2024, his single "not the type" achieved a notable milestone by reaching #48 on iTunes' International Pop: France chart. This marked the first time one of his singles had charted internationally.[4]
No Motive
Stephen Flickner is a member of the music collective known as No Motive. This group includes his collaborators and friends: Peter Steinbart (known professionally as lil busy), Spencer Phillips, and Paul Wenning. The collective focuses on creating music together, blending their individual styles.
