Stephen J. Fichter, Ph.D. (born August 23, 1967) is an American priest, sociologist, author, and film producer. Since 2017, he is the pastor of the Saint Elizabeth of Hungary Church in Wyckoff, New Jersey, and since 2022 serves as the Episcopal Vicar of Education[1] for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark. In addition to his pastoral role, Fichter is a research associate with The Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate (CARA) at Georgetown University. In May 2019, Fichter presented his third book, Catholic Bishops in the United States: Church Leadership in the Third Millennium[2], published by Oxford University Press to Pope Francis. His movie, Trinity's Triumph, starring Joe Morton and Young Mazino, is streaming on Amazon Prime and many other digital platforms.
