HP Kaggerud (born 1971[citation needed] in Mosjøen, Norway) is a Norwegian artist and multi instrumentalist. He has released 10 albums since 1998 and among others «Love Never Dies» from the album «This Is The Time» released by Polygram had heavy rotation on popular Norwegian radio station P4 during the summer of 2000. In recent years HP Kaggerud has had moderate success with digital releases and re-releases through IndigoBoom. By 2023 gaining over 3 million streams on all platforms.

He started out in a local band - Always An Answer[1] - in 1987. He also was co-founder of Studio Nord[2] in Mosjøen in 1992, now one of the most re-known recording facilities in Northern Norway. He has composed music for Mosjøen Byspill and the documentary Love Letters from a Children's Prison directed by Irish filmmaker David Kinsella.

"Don't matter where you go" from the album has been used as the outro music on the photography podcast Tips from The Top Floor since the beginning in the mid-2000s.

Previous collaborations include Finn Guttormsen (Farmers Market), Thomas Brøndbo, Freedom Bremner, Arvid Martinsen,[3] Kåre Kolve, Benny Borg, Marianne Antonsen, Sigrid Brennhaug, Publiners, Brothers, Tove Kampestuen and Tore Johansen (Travelling Strawberries). Currently promoting and touring his own material with HP Kaggerud Band as well as touring with bands like "Blaze of Glory" and "Danzbart"
