Steve Ivey

Steve Ivey is an American songwriter, record producer, musician, and audio engineer. He is also a CEO of Simon Solar LLC, a Tennessee-based solar company, and an owner of Ivey Music International, a record producing company.
Biography
Ivey began his career with a bachelor's degree in Music Performance from Mercer University[citation needed] and a master's degree in Marketing/Communications and incorporated his company, Ivey Music International LLC, in 1990, at age 21.[citation needed]
Career
Along with his record company, he has produced many songs for companies such as Warner Brothers, Sony and Nissan.[citation needed] Ivey also co-writing and directing multiple music pieces, has collaborated with Von Ives Orchestra and The London Symphony, working with classical music.[citation needed] As well as working with music produced for film and TV, including but not limited to The Vampire Diaries, Coyote Ugly and Ugly Betty.[citation needed]
Ivey began Simon Solar in 2011.[citation needed] According to the company website, the company’s focus is construction and installation of solar batteries and battery storage.[1] The company headquarters are located in Brentwood, Tennessee.[2]
Awards
Ivey has been #1 on Billboard charts 17 times with a variety of music compositions.[citation needed]
His music has entered Billboard charts such as Holiday, Urban, Comedy, Heatseeker, Country, Bluegrass, and Top Year End charts.[citation needed] He has been awarded and nominated for two Emmy Awards, three Grammy, two Tele Awards, six Dove Awards, the Gracie Allen Award, and a NAPPA Gold children's award.[citation needed]
In 2008, Steve Ivey was also featured in Billboard Bluegrass chart, though the position of his songs remains unclear.[3]
