Steve Mazzaro is an composer and a music producer for films.[1] A veteran of Hans Zimmer's Remote Control Productions, Mazzaro is known for his composing music for big-budget films like The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Bullet to the Head, Mission: Impossible – Fallout, and the DreamWorks Animation Boss Baby films.
Early life[edit]
At 18 years old, equipped with a high school diploma and one month's rent in savings, Steve Mazzaro packed his old Camry and left his small hometown in Ohio to pursue the dream of film music in the City of Angels. Over the next few years, Steve's days were spent hustling as a law firm file clerk, followed by nights scoring short films, video games, and finally collaborating with London-based Silva Screen Productions in their film music division. Steve excelled at digital orchestral production and part of his role at Silva was creating covers of pre-existing famous film scores. The remote capability of his writing rig coupled with the absurdity of Los Angeles real estate, he decided to head back to the Midwest.
