Steve Padgitt

Steve Padgitt is a sociologist who studies environmental and community development. Padgitt is a Professor at Iowa State University, where he also earned his PhD in 1971.[1]
Padgitt says, "Communities would not exist if there were not volunteerism. Sociologists call it 'creating social capital.' It's the social glue that holds folks together."
