Steve Lordigyan, (born March 18, 1968) known as Charger Steve is an American collector of classic cars. He also organizes several cars shows in Southern California, including his biggest event 'The Cajon Classic Cruise' in El Cajon, California.[1]
Early Life[edit]
Steve Lordigyan was born on March 18, 1968, in New York city. He is a collector of movie and muscle cars. In 1999, after graduating in Communication from the Arizona State University, he moved to San Diego, California and started a company called "Discount Pest Control". The very first muscle car he acquired was a 1969 Dodge Charger. [2] [3]
Career[edit]
Lordigyan got his nickname from a 1969 Dodge Charger he acquired from a man while visiting a client’s house. He started his movie car collection later. Later he sold this car and acquired one of the few chargers used in shooting of the shooting of television series, The Dukes of Hazzard. [4]
In 2006, Steve started organising The Cajon Classic Cruise, a vintage car show in El Cajon as part of Downtown El Cajon Business Partners.[5] Since then, he has organised over 200 shows.[6][7][8] After this event, he began organizing car shows in other cities of Southern California including Del Mar and Pacific Beach.[9][10][3][11]. The show in Pacific Beach is titled 'Charger Steve’s Wild Rides & Classic Car Showdown'.[12]
