Stevel Marc (1983- present) is an actor, model, photographer and published author of Jamaican decent known for his role as Poulson in the 5 time BAFTA nominated The Mauritanian (2021) as Vuyo in Unmarried (TV Series 2018) , Miller in Lockdown (TV Series 2018- 2019), Colonel Jackson Commandos: The Mission 2020.[1]
Early life[edit]
Stevel Marc was born in Portland, Jamaica. He is the eldest of two children for Jasmine Williams and Carlton McDonald. He attended Titchfield High School and was discovered professionally by Deiwght Peters of Saint International Modelling Agency, shortly before he was honored as Mr. Titchfield 2000. This presented numerous opportunities with international modeling contracts jetting him off to London, New York, Asia, South Africa, and parts of Europe. Stevel Marc made South Africa his hub after he was signing with Ice Model Management as well as Artist Connection theatrically and commercially. He featured in multiple television and cinema commercials that helped him shape his craft including Revlon (featuring Halle Berry and Eva Mendes), BlackBerry, Coca Cola, KFC, Nescafé, Standard Bank and Glenlivet. Stevel Marc is also a voice over artist and has already lent his voice to brands such as Samsung Mobile, Budweiser, Malibu Caribbean Rum, Toyota.[2]
Career[edit]
After signing with Artist Connection in 2007 and auditioning for multiple roles, Stevel Marc landed his breakthrough role as Njabu in the internationally acclaimed and 13 time Award winner Of Good Report (2013). After numerous roles, he starred in Professionals as Tyler "Trig" Raines the suave yet lethal PMC alongside Brendan Fraser and Tom Welling. Stevel Marc then landed the role of CIA Agent Poulson who interrogates Mohamedou_Ould_Slahi played by Tahar Rahim in the 5 time BAFTA nominated The Mauritanian (2021) where Jodie Foster also won the Golden Globe for best supporting actress in a motion picture.
