Steven Branco (born July 29, 1988) is a Canadian television personality known for his work as a guest expert on morning TV segments, as a Fashion editor, writer, and Editor in chief of Swagger Magazine headquartered in Toronto.[1]
Life and career
Branco was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario in a working-class Portuguese-Canadian family; he is the oldest of two siblings. Branco attended school in Toronto. Later, he started his career in journalism for a local Spanish Christian community newspaper called La Buena Nueva at the age of 19.
In 2016, Branco was named Swagger Magazine's Editor-in-Chief.[2]
Branco later also took over local Toronto hospitality and entertainment online magazine, View the VIBE, as Editorial director.[3]
In 2018, Branco was featured in a cover story in the Wall Street Journal to comment on the fact that the Secretary of State was making references to swagger in the media.[4]
Branco was first introduced to the CHCH-DT viewers in 2019 as a guest men's lifestyle expert from Swagger Magazine.[1] Later returning for regular segments including one on 'Gift Ideas for Dad' and then 'Holiday Swagger'.[5]
