Steven Broglio (b 1975) is an American neuroscientist with a specific interest in concussion on faculty at the University of Michigan[1][2]. He holds the rank of Professor of Kinesiology with additional academic appointments in Neurology, and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation[3]. He is the principal investigator of the Michigan Concussion Center[4] and the NeuroTrauma Research Laboratory[5]. His publications address concussion assessment, acute management, biomechanics, and long-term effects. He is currently co-principal investigator for the Concussion Assessment, Research, and Education (CARE) Consortium[6]
Broglio is a Fellow of the National Athletic Trainers' Association[7]
Education and Career[edit]
Dr Broglio completed doctoral training at the University of Georgia in 2006, took his first faculty position at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and has been at the University of Michigan since 2011.
