Stevie Awards
The Stevie Awards is an international business awards program sponsored by leading B2B marketers, publishers and government institutions. Stevie Awards are granted to businesses that excel in sales and customer service. Annual awards ceremonies have taken place since 2002.
The American Business Awards organization and Stevie Awards were founded by Michael P. Gallagher as a way to rebuild trust in the entrepreneurial environment and acknowledge the merits of conscientious businesses after the Enron scandal in 2001.[1]
The first round of Stevie Awards was issued in 2003.
Entry requirements
In 2003, nominees paid $200 to $400 to promote their candidacies for consideration. [2]
In 2020, entry fees can be as much as $555, with additional charges to attend a gala dinner.
Election and awarding
Judges evaluate participants’ business performance based on the quantitative metrics. Thirty to forty percent of nominees in hundreds of categories receive awards at ceremonies in NYC and other locations.[3]
