Stitch (stylized as stitch.) is a casual puzzle video game developed by Lykke Studios and published by Lykkegaard Europe Ltd. The game features embroidery-inspired grid puzzles where players must fill numbered areas to complete stitched patterns. It was released for Apple Arcade on 28 October 2022[1] and later ported to the Nintendo Switch on 17 April 2024.

Gameplay
In Stitch, players complete logical embroidery puzzles based on the rules of Shikaku (also known as Rectangles). Each puzzle, referred to as a "Hoop", consists of a grid containing numbered clues. Players must fill the grid by creating rectangular or irregular shapes (depending on the difficulty) that encompass a number of squares matching the numeric clue provided.[3]

Development and release
Stitch was developed using the Unity engine by the Copenhagen-based studio Lykke Studios. It launched on Apple Arcade on 28 October 2022 across iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and tvOS.
Following the release of the Apple Vision Pro, the game was updated to support visionOS, allowing for spatial gaming experiences.[5] A version for the Nintendo Switch was released on 17 April 2024, featuring touch screen support and controller optimization.
Reception
Stitch received generally positive reviews from critics, who praised its relaxing atmosphere, art style, and puzzle mechanics.
On the review aggregator Metacritic, the game generally received favorable feedback. TouchArcade awarded the game 4.5 out of 5 stars, highlighting its "chill vibes" and perfect fit for mobile play, while noting that the difficulty can spike in larger puzzles.[3]
Nintendo Life gave the Switch version a score of 8/10, praising the "satisfying loop" of the gameplay and the high quality of the visual presentation. The reviewer noted that while the controls were well-adapted, the touch-screen mode was the definitive way to play.[6]
