Stradford International College is a private college located in Perai, Penang.[2] Previously, it was known as Silicon Institute of Technology until end of 2014, when the Malaysian Ministry of Education announced its upgrade to College status.[3]

This college has 2 campuses, Perai (Main Campus) and in Gelugor, Penang Island.

History[edit]

Stradford International College, formerly known as Silicon Institute of Technology was founded and established in 1987. In 2014, it was granted the college status. Recently, Stradford International College joined as one of the founding members of Penang Centre of Education Tourism (PCET).

Stradford also offers programmes affiliated with University College Birmingham,[4] HELEX, Hall of English Language Examination and University of Cambridge.Those programmes are accredited by Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) & Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) and recognised by Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA).
