Straight Talk Wireless is a wireless communication service provider based in Miami, Florida. It is a subsidiary of TracFone Wireless, Inc. and operates as a mobile virtual network operator, holding agreements with wireless network operators in the United States.[2]

Straight Talk Wireless was launched in October 2009.[3] Initially the brand offered service on Verizon Wireless through its CDMA network.

In July 2010, the brand partnered with AT&T Mobility to provide service through its GSM network,[4] and a month later, T-Mobile added its network to the brand's prepaid wireless service.[5] In 2011, Sprint Corporation signed an agreement with the brand to provide a network for Android phones,[6] then in 2013 the service was made available on 4G LTE through AT&T Mobility.[7]

Straight Talk Wireless is a no-contract wireless service accessible only through the brand’s website, Walmart’s online store and Walmart’s physical stores nationwide.[8] The brand also provides prepaid smartphones which include low-cost devices, as well as Android and Apple phones.[9][10]

Straight Talk Wireless ranked second in the non-contract value section of data analytics and consumer intelligence company J.D. Power’s 2020 study.[11]
