Stuart Warren (born July 23, 1988) is an American author and former managing editor for Sequart Organization[1].

Early life

Warren grew up in Escondido, California, where he began to write long-form fiction stories while attending middle school.[2] Between High School and earning a Bachelor's degree at University of California, Santa Barbara, Warren cites Grant Morrison, Neil Gaiman, and Alan Moore as his primary influences. After college, the writings of Umberto Eco, specifically his essay, Inventing the Enemy[3] would also serve as an influential source of inspiration in his work.[4]

Literary Themes

Warren used the Tall tale narratives of Paul Bunyan, Pecos Bill, John Henry (folklore), and Johnny Appleseed in his novella "Tall Men and Other Tales: Modern Myths & Stories" to discuss the loss of the American frontier and its connection to the increasing stratification of American society. (Alluded to in the book's Foreword.) Dynamic Synapse Protocol is markedly more speculative, discussing the implications of a machine society forced to rely on their human origins for ontological purpose, as well as the existential tension produced by the increasing distance between their emerging consciousness and their present, evolved, state.

Personal life

Warren lives in Buellton, CA with his wife and daughter.[5]
