Suad Seferi (Суад Сефери) is a North Macedonian author, artificial intelligence consultant and researcher from Skopje. He is the founder of AINOW Society (AI NOW), described as the first association dedicated to artificial intelligence in North Macedonia.[1][2]
Career
Seferi works in the areas of artificial intelligence strategy, digital transformation, and cybersecurity. He has been interviewed and cited as an expert on AI adoption and ethics in regional media and policy contexts.[2][3][4]
In 2024, he participated in workshops organized by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation on artificial intelligence in newsrooms and media ethics in North Macedonia.[5]
He co-authored a white paper on ethics and bias in artificial intelligence in North Macedonia and the Balkans, which was cited by the Council of Europe as a reference for policy and regulatory analysis of AI in the media.[6]
In 2026, Seferi was quoted as a digitalization and cybersecurity expert in an investigative analysis published by PINA, an independent investigative journalism platform in North Macedonia.[7]
AINOW Society, which Seferi founded, is a member of the National Coalition for Digital Inclusion in North Macedonia, established within the framework of the EU-funded Digital Inclusion Initiative.[8]
