Subcom ( US Company)

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Script error: No such module "AfC submission catcheck". Subcom.com is a business to business company supplying the telecom industry with submarine cables capable of transmitting very large capacities of data between continents. The company is part of a larger sector which encompasses power distribution cables. Unlike power distribution cables which are designed primarily for AC and DC energy transmission between countries, and in the distribution of energy between offshore windfarms and continents, the smaller business of submarine telecommunications cables is focused on small to very long distances to maximize data transmission across oceans.

There are three competitors to SubCom:

The company was purchased by Tyco in XXXX and operated as part of the TE connectivity group after Tyco created a series of spin-offs, spinning off TE Connectivity in 2007, https://www.te.com/usa-en/about-te/news-center/corporate-news/2007/2007-06-29-tyco-electronics-separates-from-tyco-international-launches-new-era-as-publicly-traded-company.html, as an example, ADT, their alarm systems division in 2012 https://www.stockspinoffs.com/2012/09/20/tyco-ready-to-split/.
