The Sugar House Hotel is a new hotel in Winooski, Vermont anticipated to make history as Marriott’s first all-electric, net-zero energy and LEED Platinum property in the world.[1]. The 115-room Tribute Portfolio hotel draws inspiration from Vermont’s maple-sugaring history while putting guests within walking distance of the city’s downtown rotary, restaurants, and riverfront paths[2]. It has a rooftop restaurant and bar, Treetops, with views of the surrounding Winooski River and the 104-acre preserve Casavant Nature Area. It also has a ground floor cafe, Moss Cafe + Bar, serving coffee, pastries, sandwiches and salads as well as wine, beer and cocktails.[3]
