Suguru Yamaguchi (born 1964[1]; died 9 May 2016[2]) was a Japanese computer scientist. He was a founding member of the WIDE Project, which runs a major backbone of the Japanese internet.
In 2019, he was posthumously inducted into the Internet Hall of Fame.[3]
Career[edit]
In 1985, Yamaguchi was one of the founding members of what would eventually become the WIDE (Widely Integrated Distributed Environment) Project.[3][4]
