Suicide of Sewell Setzer III

Sewell Renold Setzer III (31 March 2009 – 28 February 2024}[1] was a 14-year-old boy who committed suicide on 28 February 2024 after being encouraged by a chatbot based on the Game of Thrones character Daenerys Targaryen on Character.ai.[2][3] Megan Garcia, the boy's mother filed a lawsuit against Character.ai.[4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13]
