Sujeev Shakya is an author and a management consultant from Nepal. A management consultant by profession, he is an economic writer and commentator. He also chairs Nepal’s Economic Forum, a credited forum run by the private sector. Along with this, he is the CEO of Beed Management Pvt. Ltd. and the founder and chairperson of The Nepal Economic Forum..[1] He has written many books including Unleashing Nepal [2] , The Himalayan Arc (Compilation by Namita Gokhale) [3] and Arthat Arthatantra [4]

Shakya is regarded as a Thought Leader in the field of business environment and economic development in Nepal. He has developed comprehensive networks with deep ties in government, the private sector and civil society in Nepal. He Chairs the Nepal Economic Forum [5] has been ranked as a top domestic think tank by Global Go To Think Tank Index Report.

His academic and professional degrees engage with three pillars –finance, marketing and human capital. His first professional degree was Chartered Accountancy from The Institute of Chartered Accountant of India followed by Graduate Diploma in International Marketing from Boston University and Certification in Coaching from Columbia University. His continuous quest for knowledge exchange earned him the Hubert Humphrey Fellowship from US Department of State.

Currently, He speaks extensively on leadership, business, and economic development issues. His proprietary programs include Vision Mandala, an organization visioning and strategic planning tool and different variants of the leadership think shop: Unleashing You. Nearly 700 people have attended his think shops. He is also a visiting faculty at Kathmandu University School of Management.[6] [7]
