Sultan bin Salman Almalki (born September 16, 1990) is a Saudi journalist who has been editor of Ajel since November 2017, after managing editor of the newspaper since 2013.[1]

Early life and education[edit]

Almalki Born in Riyadh city, the Capital of Saudi Arabia, in September 1990. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism in five years, graduating in 2014 from King Saud University.

Career as journalist[edit]

Almalki started his journalism career early when he was 17 years old in Sabq newspaper in 2007 until his resignation in 2013.

Almalki was one of the first founders of the newspaper, which is today one of the most famous newspapers in the Arab world.

In 2013 Almalki moved to work for Ajel Newspaper as Managing editor.

November 2017, Almalki was appointed Editor-in-chief of Ajel until the present.

Ajel Newspaper[edit]

After Almalki was appointed editor-in-chief of Ajel newspaper, he restructured the work. And with his team, he inaugurated the newspaper's new identity in 2018.[2] In 2019 Almalki decided to release two copies of the newspaper in English and Persian next to the newspaper's basic copy issued in Arabic.[3]
