Suman Kumar Mallick (born 5 July 1964) is an Indian politician, currently serving as the Secretary of Janata Dal (United), since 2018.[3][4][5][6][7] Previously, he was also the Spokesperson of Indian National Congress.[8][9][10][11]
Early life[edit]
Shri. Suman Kumar Mallick was born in a religious Chitraguptvanshi Kayastha[12] family in Bihar, (India) to Shri. Bhubaneswar Prasad Mallick and Smt. Yashoda Devi. He did his LL.B. from Patna University. He is a Kayastha by caste.[13][14]He is involved in social and welfare activities since student days and has organised several National and State Level programmes for mobilisation of youth, working for the upliftment of the downtrodden, deprived and minority communities.
