Summit Daily News
The Summit Daily is a newspaper in Summit County, Colorado. Its primary digital platform is SummitDaily.com, and it also publishes a free, 8,500-distribution newspaper seven days per week. The newspaper covers the Colorado communities Frisco, Breckenridge, Dillon and Silverthorne, the area ski resorts, and greater Summit County.[1]

The Summit Daily News was founded in August 1989 by Jim Pavelich.[2] The Summit Daily began as a five-day a week paper, added a sixth issue in summer 1992 and a seventh in December 1994.
In 1994 the Summit Daily was purchased by Swift Communications. On Jan. 1, 2022, Swift Communications was purchased by Ogden Newspapers, in a sale that included the Summit Daily and 19 other publications.[3]
