Sunanda Belgaumkar

Sunanda Belgaumkar, nee Mahishi was a Kannada author from Dharwad, Karnataka[1]. Sunanda Belgaumkar passed away on December 18, 2017 at her residence in Bangalore[2]. She belongs to the Mahishi family of Dharwad.In 2014, her personal and literary journey was documented as a part of a series of documentaries on the recipients of the prestigious Anupama Award instituted by the Karnataka Lekhakiyara Sangha in the memory of Anupama Niranjana to recognize excellence in female writing in Kannada literature[3].
