Sunday School Musical
Sunday School Musical is a 2008 Musical Drama film directed by Rachel Lee Goldenberg from a script by her and Ashley Holloway. The film was distributed by The Asylum, and, in their long-lasting tradition, is a mockbuster of High School Musical 3: Senior Year. It was released direct to video on October 21, 2008.
Plot
When financial problems hit their church, a group of teenagers, led by a talented performer, enters a song and dance competition in the hopes of winning the multi-million dollar prize.
Reception
Box Office Revolution gave it 1 point out of 10, stating that "Sunday School Musical has the rare privilege of not only joining the ranks of Christian films to be made punch lines by mainstream reviewers (along with Saving Christmas and the new Left Behind), but it also has the opportunity to be classified among our negatively-rated movies. These films find new and creative ways to be horrible and/or offensive, thus achieving this distinct status."[1]
