Super Bowl LXV is the upcoming American football championship game of the National Football League (NFL) for the 2030 season. The game is scheduled to be played on Sunday, February 9, 2031; however, the venue is currently unknown. New Orleans wants to host Super Bowl LXV at Caesars Superdome.[1] However, the Cleveland Browns want to host it at New Huntington Bank Field, a stadium set to open for the 2029 season. They may instead host Super Bowl LXVI in 2032.[2] It may also be played in Denver or Washington, D.C., as there are new stadiums coming to those cities. However, the New Broncos Stadium in Denver is set to open in 2031, making this unlikely as the venue for Super Bowl LXV. New Stadium at RFK Campus in D.C. is set to open in 2030.[1]

The game is planned to be televised nationally by ESPN and ABC. It will be the second time that ESPN will air the super bowl since Super Bowl LXI and ABC will also air it as well.

Host Selection

The league has made all decisions regrading hosting sites from Super Bowl LVII (held in February 2023) onward. There is no bidding process per site: the league selects a potential venue unilaterally, the chosen team puts together a hosting proposal, and then the league owners vote to determine whether it is acceptable. [3]. The site for the game will be announced in either Spring 2027 or Spring 2028.
