Supercomputing Frontiers Europe (SCFE), formerly known as the Supercomputing Frontiers is an annual conference on high performance supercomputing. It ran in Singapore in 2015-2017 and subsequently was moved to Warsaw, Poland (organized by the Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling (ICM)[1], University of Warsaw, Poland). Due to the COVID-19 pandemic SCFE20 was changed into a virtual event and SCFE21 followed the new digital format.
History[edit]
The first three editions of 'Supercomputing Frontiers' conferences were organized in Singapore by A*STAR Computational Resource Centre and National Supercomputing Centre Singapore, initiated by dr. Marek Michalewicz, former Chief Executive Officer at A*STAR Computational Resource Centre.[2] The fourth and succeeding editions were moved to Poland, renamed to 'Supercomputing Frontiers Europe' and organized by Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computer Modeling (ICM), University of Warsaw.
The word frontiers in the conference's name is to be interpreted in a very broad sense, where the frontiers don't matter when one talks about science.

Supercomputing Frontiers Europe 2022[edit]
This conference will run between July 11-15, 2022.[3]
SCFE22 is currently looking for scientific papers to be presented during the conference. Any topic that pushes the boundaries of computational science and supercomputing to exascale and beyond is welcomed. Paper submission is now open.
Submission closing date is April 30, 2022.[4]

Supercomputing Frontiers Europe 2021[edit]
This conference was held between July 19-23, 2021.[5]
The format of the event was a three-day conference and two-day workshops. The main topics were HPC/supercomputing, AI and Quantum Computing. The program included special segments 'Focus on India' and 'Focus on Africa' featuring selected achievements from India and Africa. In order to accommodate participants from multiple time-zones, the sessions ran between 7AM-1:30PM (San Francisco, LA), 2PM-8:30PM (Warsaw, Lagos), 6:30PM-1:00AM (New Delhi) or 9PM-3:30AM (Tokyo).[6]
