Surendra K.C.
Prof. Dr. Surendra K.C. (Nepali:डा. सुरेन्द्र केसी) is an academic, writer and political analyst of Nepal.[1][2]
Biography
KC was born in Taplejung district of Eastern Nepal.[3] [4] He completed his SLC in 2030 B.S. (1973—1974) from Moti Mavi Higher Secondary School. After SLC, he continued his higher education in Dharan up to bachelor level. He completed a master's degree in 2036 B.S. (1979—1980) from Tribhuvan University in Kathmandu. [5]
After topping his batch at the master's level, he was offered postgraduate studies at the same university. In 2052 B.S.(1995—1996), he earned a PhD.[4] Dr. K.C. was a professor of Political Science at Tribhuvan University.[6]
K.C. has 13 siblings. [4] He is suffering from cancer. [7]
Publication
K.C. has been publishing his expertise in various national newspapers of Nepal, focusing on political analysis.[8] K.C. has published books focusing on communism in Nepal. Some of them are listed below.[9]

Controversies
- K.C. was criticised by actress Karishma Manandhar for his comment on her husband Binod Manandhar.[10]
- In 2040 B.S. (1983—1984), he was campus chief at Dharan campus, where he was attacked by students. A similar attack occurred when he was campus chief at Chahabil Campus, Kathmandu.[7]
