Susie Alegre

Susie Alegre is an Isle of Man-born writer and international human rights lawyer. She is the author of Freedom to Think: The Long Struggle to Liberate Our Minds, which was shortlisted for the RSL Christopher Bland Prize 2023[1] and named among the Financial Times Book of the Year 2022[2], and of Human Rights, Robot Wrongs: Being Human in the Age of AI.[3] Alegre is a Senior Fellow at the Centre for International Governance Innovation and an Associate Tenant at Garden Court Chambers, Lincoln's Inn Fields. She is also the Founder and Director of the Island Rights Initiative, a think-tank and consultancy bringing innovation on international human rights to small islands.
