Suspect: The Shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes is an upcoming television series made for Disney+, based on the shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes. The series is written by Jeff Pope and directed by Paul Andrew Williams, and produced by Kwadjo Dajan, Liam Keelan and Lee Mason.

Synopsis[edit]

Dramatization based upon real events in 2005, Suspect follows the manhunt for a group of terrorists and the killing of an innocent man after he was mistaken as a suspect.

In June 2023, Disney+ announced they were making Suspect: The Shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes.[1][2] The series is written by Jeff Pope and produced by Etta Pictures, part of ITV Studios.

Filming[edit]

In October 2023, Disney+ announced that filming is underway on the limited drama series in London.[3][4]
