Suyash Keshari
Suyash Keshari is a 25-year-old wildlife presenter, filmmaker and conservationist from India.[1]
He has worked on projects with organizations such as WWF International and Animal Planet and published in several national and international newspapers and magazines including National Geographic, Outlook Traveller[2], Times of India[3] and has appeared on media channels such as NDTV[4] and Aaj Tak[5] to speak on topics of wildlife and conservation.
LIFE AND EDUCATION
Suyash Keshari was born in Narsinghpur, Madhya Pradesh on 24th January, 1996.
He pursued his undergraduate studies at Wake Forest University, North Carolina. He was a major in Political Science and International Affairs, with minors in Journalism and Entrepreneurship.
WORK AND ACHIEVEMENTS
An award-winning wildlife photographer, Suyash has worked on several projects with WWF International, and with Animal Planet as a live host and has been covered by several publications worldwide.
At the age of 19, he became one of the youngest people to win the Nature's Best Photography Asia Award, for a photograph of a six-month-old tigress. This photo was exhibited for a year at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum in Washington D.C.[6]
Recently, Suyash produced his first series #SafariwithSuyash for WWF International which is a real-life web series about a young person's life with tigers and conservation issues surrounding the species, centered in Bandhavgarh National Park, India. The final episode of the series was screened in Bhopal amongst the presence of several important dignitaries including the then Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Kamal Nath and the Minister of Tourism. It was released on YouTube between 6th Dec 2019 and January 10th, 2020[7].[8]
SAFARI WITH SUYASH- Season 1
He began shooting in Bandhavgarh National Park in 2019 to trace the life of a tigress called Solo and her cubs. The show was picked up by WWF International for a web release across the world.[9] The show was showcased at the United Nations Convention on Migratory Species (13th). Back in India, the final episode of the series was screened in Bhopal amongst the presence of several important dignitaries including the then Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Kamal Nath and the Minister of Tourism.
SAFARI WITH SUYASH: TV
Suyash Keshari, on 9th October 2021, launched India's first wildlife OTT platform, Safari with Suyash - TV. [10][11]He launched India's first virtual safari experience on the platform on 17th October, 2021.[12] This is the first of its kind in India, where people can watch virtual safaris from the comfort of their homes.
