Suzi Pomerantz (born November 25, 1968) is an American executive coach and author.[1][2][3][4]

Early life and education[edit]

Born in 1968 in Philadelphia, PA, Suzi (Benoff) grew up in Falls Church and Fairfax, VA and graduated from the University of Virginia in 1991 with two degrees. While at UVA she held leadership roles and was selected to live on The Lawn. She is married with two children.[5][6]

Career[edit]

A school teacher before being trained and certified as a coach, Pomerantz founded Innovative Leadership International LLC in 1993. In 1998 she earned the credential of Master Certified Coach from the International Coach Federation.

Pomerantz coached in government, non-profits and private sector, including Fortune 100 organizations.[7] She is the CEO of Innovative Leadership International LLC.[8][9][10]

Pomerantz is a faculty member at the College of Executive Coaching and an Advisory Board Member at both Philosophy of Coaching Journal and WordSmithRapport. Pomerantz is on Harvard Business Review's Advisory Council and writes a column for choice, the magazine of professional coaching.[11][12][13]

She cofounded and held leadership roles at the International Consortium for Coaching in Organizations (ICCO), the International Journal for Coaching in Organizations (IJCO); the Library of Professional Coaching; and the Leading Coaches’ Center. She was on Forbes Coaches Council; a SupporTED coach for TED Fellows, and presented at international coaching events and several universities.[14][15][16]
