Suzy K Quinn

Suzy K Quinn is a British author, writing chiefly in the romance genre. [1] Originally writing as Susanna Quinn, she is both a published and self-published author, and wrote the Ivy Lessons series (romance) and the Bad Mother's Diary series (romantic comedy). [2]
She studied Sociology at the University of Nottingham.
Her first novels, the thrillers Glass Geishas[3] and Show, Don't Tell, were published by Hodder & Stoughton in 2011.[4] Quinn worked as a hostess in Japan, as research for her first novel Glass Geishas.[5] The novel has also been published in Russia.[6]
Quinn then wrote the Ivy Lessons, a "Fifty Shades of Grey"-inspired romance about a teacher and a student.
Ivy Lessons was rejected by Quinn's publisher. She subsequently self-published the series through Amazon KDP and went on to sell over half a million copies worldwide, becoming a bestseller in the US, UK and Germany.[citation needed]
After having her second daughter, Quinn wrote the Bad Mother's Diary, a romantic comedy about new motherhood and single motherhood. This book also became a bestseller.[citation needed] In 2020, Quinn released her sixth installment, Bad Mother's Virus.[7]
Personal life
She currently lives in Wivenhoe, Essex, with her husband and two daughters.[5]
