After playing in all kind of bands, Svenson finished university and recorded his first solo album in 2007. He performed round the world (Bangkok, Beijing, Monte Video, Shanghai, Seoul, Stockholm) as well as the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival.[1] His main instrument is the Electric guitar, but on his albums, he plays also Acoustic guitar and Dobro. Since 2001, Svenson has taught at the Yamaha Music school in Marburg and the Music Academy Cologne. He formerly taught at the Beethoven Music School of Bonn and is invited to teach in workshops, masterclasses and clinics all around Europe. Svenson has published various books on guitar playing, regarded as seminal: His workshop e-books are available in three languages already and set a benchmark for multi-touch books teaching on how to learn an instrument.[5]
