Co-founders of Swami Select, Nikki Lastreto and Swami Chaitanya each have their own roots deeply planted in cannabis culture, history, and knowledge. Always advocating for their fellow craft cannabis farmers, they both participate actively in political forums that shape legislation affecting local Emerald Triangle and California-wide, small-batch cannabis cultivators.
Together, Nikki and Swami have been expert judges in the annual Emerald Cup competition and awards, roles they have proudly held since the event’s founding in 2004.[3][4]. You’ll find them on stage each year handing out the highly prestigious award for “Best Flower”, as well as on expert speaker panels from coast to coast.[5]
Most recently, Swami Select co-founders Nikki Lastreto and Swami Chaitanya were selected to serve as the first Ambassadors for the California State Fair's inaugural cannabis competition.[6]
Swami Select has a mission statement that aims to raise awareness of the benefits of sun-grown organic cannabis. For nearly two decades, Swami and Nikki have helped guide those seeking the finer things in life in their exploration of this sacred plant’s many spiritual and therapeutic offerings.
