The Swansea Titans is an American football team representing Swansea University. As of the 2025/2026 season the Titans compete in British Universities American Football League (BUAFL) Division 2: South West.
2025/2026 season
The 25/26 season marks the Titans' return to Division 2. The 24/25 season was one to forget for the titans as not only did they get demoted, finishing with a record of 0-8, but they only scored 2 points all season, a safety against Bristol. This means the titans go into the year looking for a fresh start and their first offensive points in over a year.

Match report: Swansea Titans 18 - 2 Worcester Royals
The Titans started the season with a long awaited win, scoring a safety and two touchdowns (both with successful 2 point conversions)
First quarter: The game started slowly with neither team scoring in the first despite the Royals attempting a 22 yard field goal that swung well to the right of the posts
Second quarter: After being buried deep into their own territory by a Worcester punt, a wayward snap flies just out of reach for Titans QB Macs Chapman and bounces out the back of the end zone, awarding Worcester with 2 points to open the scoring. On their very next offensive drive the Titans march downfield, only losing the ball on the Royals' 1 yard line. The Swansea defense take over and immediately force the Royals back into their own end zone and level the score with a safety apiece, that score standing as the teams head in for half time.
Halftime: Titans 2-2 Royals
Third quarter: As the teams head out for the second half the traditional Welsh weather shows its face as rain begins to fall. Clever blocking from the Titans on kick off causes a hole to open in the Royals formation allowing Returner/WR Alasdair Stevenson Kear to show off electric pace to score the first Swansea touchdown of the year. Following the spectacular 80 yard score an extra 2 points were added on as TE Ralph Green secured the conversion with a one handed catch, a nice display of skill in increasingly damp conditions. The very next drive the Titans defense shut down the Worcester forcing them to punt from their own 10 yard line, unfortunately for the Royals their punter is unable to get a hold on the sodden ball which promptly slips through is hands an into the end zone where it is recovered by LB Mohammed Rachid for the Titans 2nd touchdown of the day. The final points of the game come from RB Kaiden Rann-Smith, who waltzs in for the 2 point conversion. Nearing the end of the quarter, after yet another stop by the Titans defence, the Royals decide to attempt a 45 yard field goal that falls depressingly short, not even making it past the 15.
Fourth quarter: The ever deteriorating weather means that neither offence can get much progress and the game ends with the Titans victorious. 1-0

Achievements
Despite their relatively short history, having only been founded in 2009[2], the Titans have had a number of achievements
2013/2014
- In the 13/14 season the Titans went 6-1 in the regular season, qualifying for playoffs.
- They then went undefeated in the playoffs, successfully winning the National Challenge trophy.[2]
2015/2016
- In the 15/16 season the Titans completed their remarkable 13-0 season with another National trophy win as well as promotion to the premier south division[2]
