Early Life

Her father, Dileep Gaikwad is an English literature zilla parishad teacher and her mother, Pancheshila Dileep Gaikwad is a teacher. Swapnali switched from engineering to music in terms of making a career and enrolled the MIT Vishwashanti Sangeet Kala Academy, in Loni Kalbhore, Pune, with immediate effect, so that she could pursue it academically and with utmost professionalism. She took upon her classical music journey under the supervision of Shri Adinath Mangeshkar ji and she also happens to be the diligent disciple of Pandit Upendra Bhatt (who Paramshishya of Pandit Bhimsen ji. While she in college, she participated in various music competitions like “persona”, “Sangeet Kala yearly” etc. and has always bagged the first place. Presently, Swapnali is providing classes to all the national and international students and is playing her instrumental part in transfusing the calibration of Hindustani Classical Music on various digital platforms.

Career

Swapnali has also won her fair share of accolades and reception for her participation in lending her voice at Lata Mangeshkar’s 90th birthday celebrations. Her tribute and ode to the legendary singer along with a few other people was much appreciated and gratified. An event which turned out to be both memorable and validating for the young talented singer.

She has also sung for “The song of dancer,” which delves into the importance and culture of “Lavani,” the state dance of Maharashtra. The thematic universe of the song depicts the importance of the dance form and how its high time for the present lot and the forth coming generations to preserve the divine dance form, which in many reflects our legacy and accentuates our history.

Swapnali has also join hands with the makers of a hindi feature film titled “Someone,” not just a singer but also as a music producer. This particular association with the film marks her debut into the world of music production, although she’s created a niche space for herself as a classical singer. The song in the film is touted to be very crucial to the narrative and is said to be a western classical, a genre blend that’d cater to a wide range of audience out there she made 2 world records (1 individually and 1 with her academy students). On the occasion of Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar’s 92nd birthday, she sang for almost 4hrs and engraved her name in the “High range book of records”. 2^nd world record was with the help of her 90 academy students, she gave tribute to lata Mangeshkar which later ended up making the world record of choir singing for 8hrs nonstop. The certificate and medal were given by the hands of the governor of Maharashtra Mr. Bhagat Singh Koshyari. swapnali is very enthusiastic and passionate about her career and we hope she keeps touching heights of succes. Personal Life

Swapnali aspired to become an Indian classical singer from the age of 10, when She was in her 4th grade. Her music teacher, Pt. Baburao Borgaonkar encouraged and helped her foray into the world of Indian classical music and since then started her formal training in the same. During her formative years at school, she participated in various music competitions like “Marathwada Idol,” and was the 1st and the 2nd runner up winner, respectively
