Swarupu, also known as Karthik Shankar is an Indian film actor who works in the Tamil film industry. His uncle is the late director AG Baby (director). Swarupu is best known for his role as Saroja's maternal uncle in the 2016 romantic thriller Thodari and Pathmavyuhathile Abhimanyu (Mohammad Niyas) in the 2019 crime thriller. Among the popular movies he acted in are Thodari (2016), Mahabaratham Serial Sun TV (2013), Ennul Aayiram (2017), Express Khilladi, Rail, School Diary Serial Doordharshan (1997), The Savage Eye (2010), Pathmavyuhathile Abhimanyu (2019) and Saravanan Meenatchi (2012), etc.[1][2][3]
