Early Life

Swattrex (Swatej Agrawal) was born in Uttar Pradesh, India. He completed his education from Indraprastha University, Delhi, India.

Since Childhood Swattrex has keen interest in music. During his graduation, he started learning music production, sound engineering from YouTube . He began performing at the age of 18 , performed for Sunburn India, Majestic Music festivals and several other festivals in India

Career

In 2015, he dropped out 1 year to prepare for iit jee Coaching. In that year, he started listening to Avicii and Tiesto's songs, at that time he got to know about EDM, then he started exploring genres in EDM. At that time He got so inspired by major EDM artists like, Avicii, Tiesto that made him search about how to make music on the laptop. In 2016, After getting failure in not getting a good engineering college via the jee exam. That phase of life is the most depressing part of his life, then he decided to do engineering from adgitm, ip University which is also a really great College in Delhi, India, and then he started to search about his real interest in his life. To deal with depression, He started exploring different creative works like art, designing, sports, music, then In the first year of his btech graduation, Swattrex started learning music from YouTube, he started making music on his laptop using Fl studio in his bedroom. He learned full music production via YouTube. YouTube has played a major role as his mentor in his music career. He learned sound design, music theory, and everything else in music from YouTube and blogs. Till now he has collaborated with many artists across India and also including some international artists like Junior paes etc. In 2018, he got attention when he made a remix of " Marshmallow - happier" Which Crossed around 100k+ streams on SoundCloud in a week. After that, His song " So High - Swattrex ft. Junior paes " got featured in Korea's major music platforms such as Olleh, Mnet, Bugs, Soribada, etc. In 2019, Swattrex started performing in clubs and music festivals across all over India. He also made a Duo named as " so you know " In collaboration with dj sin for performing in shows and releasing music. Also in this year 2019, he crossed 300k + subscribers on YouTube and crossed over 20 million + streams in total. Still, he is learning so many things from the internet, still, he is trying to go beyond his extreme capabilities. Still, he is working around 10-15 hours every day on his music. He is trying to make his art better and better every day just by trying and polishing his skills. He is just a normal guy making music in his bedroom.

Apart from Music., Swattrex is a computer science Engineer from adgitm , IP university which is one of the best colleges under IP universities. He is a graphic designer, video editor, Front end React native App developer, Currently, he is working on Artificial Intelligence and neural networks as he has a keen interest in Robotics.
