Sword Route

The Sword Route is an alternate route in the episodic role-playing video game Deltarune in Chapter 3. The route is accessed from the Green Room's backstage area, where the player controlling the protagonist Kris can play Ramb's "original" version of Tenna's The Legend of Tenna boards. They kill enemies in the minigame to gain strength that allows them to destroy obstacles and leave the game's standard boundaries. Kris is rewarded with the Shadow Mantle after a fight with the Shadow Mantle holder.

Gameplay

When the party earns either a T-rank, S-rank, or Z-rank during Round 1 of Tenna's gameshow (TV Time), the player can access the corresponding letter rooms, and then, walking past the large row of controllers, is a room containing the original game and console. Interacting with it prompts Kris to connect a controller. Afterwards, the Odd Controller appears in the previous room, and it should be picked up and plugged into the console to play the Sword Route.
