Sycamore Speedway is a clay track located on Illinois Route 64 in Maple Park, Illinois. Originally opened as Bob-Jo Speedway in 1960, named for the founders Bob Oksas, Joe Fabrizius and his wife, Carol Fabrizius.[1]. It started as a motorcycle course, and it hosted the first stock car race 3 years later. In 1970, the track was renamed Sycamore Speedway. The track currently offers races on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Incidents[edit]
- In 2001, Joe Fabrizius was killed when a tire flew off of a racecar and struck him in the stands.
- In 2008, Tim Erjavac was killed in a crash during a Figure 8 race[2].
