Syed Ashraf Karim is an Indian television Actor/ Journalist based in Mumbai. He was born in Darbhanga Bihar. He aspired to become an actor since childhood. After his schooling in Darbhanga, he came to Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh for further education. During his stay in Aligarh Muslim University he remained involved in theatre and staged many plays.

After graduating from Aligarh Muslim University, he moved to Mumbai. Initially, he worked as a video editor and later he started his career as a Journalist in electronics media.He worked as an Anchor for Sahara Samay Channel, Mumbai and anchored shows like Khabre Mumbai, Astrology based shows with reputed Astrologers. Then he switched to acting and worked in shows like "Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane1] as Ratnakar Shetty telecasted on Sony Channel, Amma[2] as Naeem Sahikh telecasted on Zee TV, as Nahar Singh in TV show Nimki Mukhiya[3] on Star Bharat,as Nahar Singh in "Nimki Vidhayak"[4] on Star Bharat,as Jan Mohammad in "Sufiyana pyar mera"5] telecasted on Star Bharat,asGurucharanin"Bhagyaakshmi"[6] telecasted on Zee TV, as Sethi in "Zindagi mere ghar aana"[7] telecasted on Star Plus, as Prashar in "Iss Mod se jate ha]i"[8] telecasted on Zee Tv, as Girdhari in "Ishq ki dastaan Naagmani"9] telecasting on Dangal TV.
