Symphonos Italia

History
The creation of Symphonos Italia is linked to Maestro Francesco Minuta, composer, multi-instrumentalist musician and conductor. Active in Catania from the thirties to the sixties, he composed and arranged many pieces of music for the Corpo Civico Musicale of Catania, of which he was in those years band director. Pianist and clarinetist, he also wrote an opera, performed at the Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania on September 3, 1944, entitled I Granai del Popolo, a comedy in 3 acts by R. Cosentino.[1][2][3][4]
In the fifties, Maestro Concetto Minuta continued the artistic tradition of Symphonos Italia. Musician, painter, drummer and percussionist, he was timpanist at the Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania for several years.[1][2][3]
From the point of view of musical genres, Symphonos Italia has ranged from pop to rock, also distributing hip-hop and jazz music productions. Several Symphonos Italia artists have also participated in festivals and musical events. Symphonos Italia has also collaborated with Italian record labels and music producers.[5]
