Syun Koide (小出 峻 Koide Shun, born 26 October 1999) is a Japanese racing driver who won the 2022 F4 Japanese Championship title.[1] Also part of Honda Formula Dreams Project.[2]
Career
Koide first Formula racing start in 2020, competed in F4 Japanese Championship. Originally Koide placed with Honda Formula Dream Project, but Honda pulled out for the season due to the COVID Pandemic. Koide along with Kakunoshin Ohta who should compete with the same team with end up competed with Vegaplus, raced for three rounds. Koide finished 10th place. For 2021, Koide continue race in the same series, but with HFDP. Koide end up in 6th place with a win. For 2022, stayed with the same team, and he dominated the whole season. He finished the season as the champion, ahead of his Honda Junior teammate Yusuke Mitsui.[1]
For 2023 season, Koide step up to Super Formula Lights compete with Toda Racing.[3] Also He will race in Super GT with Team UpGarage.[4]
